BIOGRAPHY

Arlene Ann Falzarano (nee Rao), 71, passed away Thursday, June 8th, in Manchester, N.J., surrounded by her loving son, Brian.

Arlene worked for the Rutherford School System for more than 20 years, but is best known to all who knew and loved her for her kindness, generosity, compassion, humor and strength. Also known as "Midge" for her diminutive stature, she was a big fan of The Big Bang Theory, The Andy Griffith Show, anything chocolate, and making sarcastic comments or giving others her infamous side-eye in disapproval; usually Brian or her beloved sister, Gloria Rathgeber, were the recipients.

Beyond being an incredible mother and best friend to Brian, she was a dedicated wife of 37 years to her pre-deceased husband, Clement, whom she tirelessly cared for and loved throughout a long-term illness. Moreover, she was a caring friend to countless others who considered her among the kindest and sweetest people they had ever encountered.

Mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13th, at St. Ann's Church in Hoboken, followed by burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi. In lieu of flowers, please share a kind remembrance of Arlene in the comments below.
