Cuocci,

Ignazia, 91 nee Tatulli of Hoboken passed away peacefully on July 23, 2017. Born in Molfetta, Italy, Mrs. Cuocci came to the United States in 1966, settling in Hoboken. An exceptional seamstress, Ignazia worked for many years at a coat manufacturing company. She designed and made all of her own clothing, and many times, she also made clothing for members of her immediate family. Ignazia was a member of the International Ladies Garment Union Workers and a devoted parishioner of St. Ann’s RC parish in Hoboken for many years.


She is predeceased by her parents, Maria Luisa and Vito Tatulli and her loving husband, Donato. She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her two devoted sons, Vincenzo and his wife Rosalia, and Vito and his wife Mariantonia, a cherished brother Ignazio Tatulli and his wife Joan, her loving sister Connie Tridente and her husband Leonardo. Great joys in her life were her beloved grandchildren, Dennis and his wife Kerri, Nancy and Mary Ann, Genny and Nancy. Also surviving is her only great grandchild Luca Cuocci and a host of nieces and nephews that were very dear to her heart.


The funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday, August 2nd at 11AM at St. Ann’s RC Church, 704 Jefferson Street, Hoboken, New Jersey. Entombment will follow with her late husband at Fairview Mausoleum in Fairview, New Jersey. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the viewing on August 1st, beginning at 4PM and concluding at 9PM at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, New Jersey. Valet parking is available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ignazia's memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001. Envelopes will be provided at the memorial home, or contributions can also be made on their website, alzfdn.org.
