Vincenzo “Vincent” Clemente, 96, lifetime resident of Hoboken, New Jersey and recent five year resident of Houston, Texas, passed peacefully on July 31, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. A proud World War II Airforce Veteran, retiree from Port Authority Trans Hudson, and the biggest New York Yankee fan you’ll ever know. He enjoyed reading his books while dunking his cookies in a hot cup of green tea and loved the frequent trips to AC.  He lit up every room he stepped foot in with his rambunctious laugh and charismatic personality. He loved and lived for his children, their children and their children’s children. Predeceased by his wife Mildred Clemente, his daughter JoAnn DePinto, daughter in-law Linda Clemente and brother Michael Clemente. Devoted father of James and wife Lois, Thomas and wife Barbara, and son in-law Philip DePinto. Loving grandfather of John, Jamye, Danielle and husband John, Laura and husband Brian, Michael and wife Robin, J.Vincent and wife Hannah, Milan and fiancé Christopher. Great grandfather of Melina, Gabriella, Madison, Jack, Eric, James, Isaiah, Jacob, and Isabella. Visitation will be on Friday, August 4, from 5-9pm at Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, New Jersey 07030. Valet parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street. Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 5, 10am at St. Francis Church of Hoboken, 3rd and Jefferson St. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
