Sam Buzzanca

BIOGRAPHY

Sam Buzzanca, 98, passed away suddenly near his Iselin residence on November 28th. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, Sam was a retired Inspector for the Global Trucking Company in Bayonne for many years. He was also a talented Haberdasher prior to that position in his younger years. Sam was also an enthusiastic ballroom dancer and dance instructor and a former member of the Hoboken Elks until he relocated to South Jersey in 2003. Predeceased by his loving wife Nina (Addesso) in 2006. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Ronald (Toni), George (Frances), and his only daughter Lucille Capurso (Matteo). He was also predeceased by a brother and sister, Thomas Buzzanca and Mary Lanzetti. He will be sadly missed by his seven grandchildren, Lindsay (Jacob) Rivera, James, Nicole and Audrey Buzzanca and Matthew, Daniel and Anthony Capurso. He was blessed with two great grandchildren, Juliana and Angelina.

 

The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church on Monday, December 4th at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Madonna Mausoleum in Fort Lee. Visitation will be held on Sunday, beginning at 2PM and concluding at 6Pm at the Failla-McKnight Memorial Home, 533 Willow Avenue, Hoboken. Valet parking available in rear of memorial home off Sixth Street.
